Teambuilding brings people together and helps encourage good collaboration and team work. At Seychelles Business Studies Academy (SBSA) people must wear many hats and work closely and effectively together to ensure tasks are accomplished to the required level of performance. Because good collaboration and teamwork is crucial to the operation of SBSA, team building is viewed as a fundamental aspect of our work. In view of this, SBSA strives to hold different team building activities during the semester.
The latest one held was a team building hike on Saturday 20 August 2016 which saw the participation of staff and some family members. The team had a very interesting walk from Anse Royale, up Bougainville Road to Dame Le Roi and down to Baie Lazare where everyone enjoyed lunch on the beach before going back home to tackle the usual Saturday chores.
The walk was especially uplifting due to the beautiful scenery, warm sunny day and tranquillity of the secondary roads we took. Away from the usual pressures of classes, markings and such, staff could enjoy each other's company in a friendly and pressure-free atmosphere which resulted in a rejuvenated group ready to tackle more as a team. SBSA will continue to engage in constant team building activities to ensure a happy group of people who can boast of having a very high morale at all times!
