  • Four head teachers retire after more than 40 years of service in education

    13 Jan. 2017 - The Principal Secretary for the Department of Education has announced the retirement of four school leaders who served for more than 40 years in education. 

     

    They are Ms Anne Marie Servina who was the head teacher of Pointe Larue primary school, Mrs. Fatima Agathine, former head teacher of Au Cap primary school, Mrs. Solange Balette who was formerly the head teacher of Baie Lazare primary school and Ms Bibianne Fred who was the Coordinator for Island schools.

     

    During the first meeting with the management teams and heads of institutions of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development which was held on Thursday 12 January 2017, Minister Joel Morgan presented each of the retirees with a token of appreciation for their dedication, loyalty and hard work and for their many years of service in education.
